Who are the trialists we have then??

As usual with Scottish football it is hard to keep a secret and a few of the names of Stuart McCall’s trialists are starting to sneek out.

From the names that have spilled out into the public domain it looks as though McCall is targeting all of the problem areas in the side at the moment.

One of the names mentioned is Pedro Moutinho formerly of Falkirk, the Protugues striker has recently been in Cyprus with Paphos. He was had two spells and was hugely popular with the Bairns fans, scoring 16 times in just over 100 appearances.

In left midfield McCall appears to be look at Frenchman Cedric Collet, from Standard Liege, for whom he has only made three League appearances. He is also an International having played ten times for Guadeloupe.

Then in defence we have the intriguing prospect of signing someone from Real Madrid,  their third team it would appear, with Spanish centre back Jaime Navarro being looked at.

This at least shows McCall is trying but we need to be sure we get the right people in, for every Mitchell Van Der Gaag there is a Holm Kraska!
