Well slump away at Inverness.

Motherwell’s inconsistency continued, after seeing off Celtic last week it was back to earth with a 3-0 drubbing at Inverness.

Shane Sutherland marked his return to the starting line-up by firing the opener after 18 minutes - his first goal for Caley Thistle.

Richie Foran's close-range finish stretched the lead after 64 minutes.

Foran set up Alex MacDonald to score with his first touch of the ball eight minutes later.

It meant that Inverness had secured only a fourth win in 15 home games against Motherwell and ended the visitors' run of five straight league wins away to Caley Thistle.

It's hard to work out what Motherwell team is going to turn up one week to the next, this was a performance up beside the one put in against St. Mirren.

Hopefully this is fixed for the Dundee Utd game in the Scottish Cup next week, which is now turning into the biggest game of the season

Well slump away at Inverness.
