Conspiracy theory no 1 – no United players called up for Sco

The Scotland squad was announced today and despite almost any Dundee Utd being called up under Levein there are none in his squad for a game only three days ahead of our cup replay.

It does seem strange that after calling up the likes of Kenneth, Swanson, Goodwillie (one of the top scorers in the SPL) and Conway in recent months none of them are in Craig Levein’s Scotland squad for the game against Brazil.

Is it a coincidence this is for a game only a few days before our Scottish Cup replay, and the squad is picked by the current United manager and the one before him.

While at the same time we have players away with both of the Irelands who will more than likely return to Scotland on the morning of the replay after representing their country.

I know the United boys have had a lot of football recently but so have the Rangers and Celtic ones who have still been picked, although it will be interesting to see how many of them pull out before the Brazil game (but probably not the trip to La Manga!).

It’s not often we have a conspiracy theory around Motherwell but it is good to stoke one up…..
