Strauss Confident of Return to No.1

England captain Andrew Strauss is confident that his side can bounce back from the 2-0 series loss to South Africa, which saw the visitors dislodge the England cricket team as the number one ranked side in the test arena....
"I've got great faith in the talent and desire in the dressing room and we're going to need that," Strauss told the BBC's TMS after the presentation at Lord's.
"Maybe the tag of being number one hasn't sat as comfortably as it should have done." The England skipper went on (England have lost six test matches out of 11 since becoming number 1 in the world).
"We've learned important lessons on how we should approach it in the future but our first priority is to get back in that situation." Strauss concluded.
South African Graeme Smith, who dedicated the series win to the absent Mark Boucher, said "Being number one is something we've pushed for, for a while."
"We've achieved where we wanted to go, but we want to carry on." He went on.
"The challenge is the same for us as it was for England - to build a strong enough base that when the wind blows, it doesn't blow us over." Smith concluded.
