Anderson Didn't Rate Vaughan

England fast bowler James Anderson has ripped into former England captain Michael Vaughan, in his autobiography, where he said he "didn't enjoy him as captain".......

It is another talking point off the field for the England Cricket Team, coming hot on the heels of the Kevin Pietersen affair, and one which won't go down too well with coach Andy Flower, who has previously stated that he doesn't agree with players writing books whilst they are still playing.

That followed Graeme Swann's book, where he slated the decision to hand the captaincy to Kevin Pietersen in 2009.

At least Anderson won't be in the same dressing room as Vaughan, but it is a startling revelation, given the high regard Vaughan is held as a former England Cricket Captain.

Excerpts of the book were in the Mail on Sunday, with Anderson writing “As a young fast bowler, you need to know that your captain has his arm around your shoulder, if not physically, then metaphorically. Unfortunately, that is not something I ever felt playing under Vaughan. I actually felt alone and isolated when I most needed support."
