Despite concerns over the fitness of bowlers Steven Finn and vice captain Stuart Broad, batsman Jonathan Trott completed a fine century to complete England's preperations ahead of the four test series with India.....

In their laat warm up game with Haryana, it was noticeable that instructions had come from the Indian national team, not to bowl too much spin at the England batsmen, however all the top six have struck sizeable contributions in the three warm up games now, so will be full of confidence ahead of the test series, which starts on the 15th November.

Trott was the latest batsmen to fill his boots, opening the innings last time out, with another draw the order of the day, on another flatbed of a pitch.

England XI 1st Innings 521 for 9 (118.1 overs)

England XI 2nd Innings 254 for 6 (75.2 overs)

Haryana 1st Innings 334 all out (112.4 overs)

Haryana 2nd Innings 133 for 6 (42.0 overs)
