England Made to Fight on Day 2 of Warm Up

England added 69 runs to their overnight total on Day 2 of their Queenstown warm up against a New Zealand XI, with Ian Bell going on and making 158 as the visitors were all out for 426 from 103.2 overs.
In reply, New Zealand had reached 224 for 6 at stumps, with Graeme Swann taking two wickets, Chris Woakes, Stuart Broad and Jonathan Trott also amongst the wickets.
England were made to work hard for those six wickets however, with the hosts 175-3 at one point, with Hamish Rutherford falling ten runs short of a century.
In the morning session, Ian Bell and Graeme Swann (27 from 17 balls) got the England total moving along quickly, with Bell finally dismissed for 158 from 233 balls.
There are now two days remaining for either side to try and force a result.
