Flintoff : Pietersen may retire after Ashes

Popular England all rounder Andrew Flintoff has said that star batsmen Kevin Pietersen may well look at the back to back ashes series in 2013/14, and think about "calling it a day" when the players have shook hands in Sydney next January....
Pietersen is currently recovering from a knee injury that will see him miss the two match series with New Zealand, but Flintoff is expecting the Surrey man to miss none of the Ashes action which starts in July.
He also sees it as an ideal time for Pietersen to go 'solo' in terms of naming his price for playing T20 cricket around the globe.
"I wouldn't read too much into his not playing New Zealand, Kevin will be ready for the Ashes," the former all-rounder said. "There are 10 Tests against Australia in the next few months, I expect England to win and expect Kevin to be part of that.
"But I would be quite interested to see if Kevin tries to play Test cricket after that. We'll see what happens after that, if he is lured away to play IPL and Twenty20 cricket around the world.
"I've got a sneaking suspicion he'll be looking at those 10 Tests and then consider his future," Flintoff said on Sky Sports News.
Pietersen himself has recently tweeted that he hopes to be playing for England for "at least four more years".
