England have named an unchanged squad for the second test with New Zealand, which starts at Headingley on Friday. Ian Bell has been passed fit after his bout of tonsillitis which forced him to bat lower down the order in the win at Lord's.....

New Zealand meanwhile have injury problems, with keeper BJ Watling doubtful with a knee injury and left arm spinner Bruce Martin almost certainly out with a groin injury, both picked up at Lord's.

Former skipper Daniel Vettori has been drafted into the squad earlier than the planned ODI series, as cover.

England squad for second Test : Alastair Cook (Essex, captain), James Anderson (Lancashire), Jonny Bairstow (Yorkshire), Ian Bell (Warwickshire), Tim Bresnan (Yorkshire), Stuart Broad (Nottinghamshire), Nick Compton (Somerset), Steve Finn (Middlesex), Matt Prior (Sussex, wk), Joe Root (Yorkshire), Graeme Swann (Nottinghamshire), Jonathan Trott (Warwickshire).
