England Draw Warm Up Opener

Jonathan Trott and Ian Bell struck centuries in England's opening warm up game in Perth, but all eyes remain on the third bowling slot, with Boyd Rankin, Chris Tremlett and Stevn Finn all vying for the spot.....

After a disapointing opening day, which wielded only four wicket for England, the stage was set on the second day, when England raced to 270-2 in relply to the hosts 451-5dec.

However, England will be concerned with the collapse of the their batting, once Bell had retired to let the likes of Gary Balance and Ben Stokes have their chance with the bat.

Neither, could take advantage, with Ballance falling first ball as the visitors lost their way, losing their last seven wickets for just 57 runs.

Rankin then showed he has something to offer, with two wickets as the match finished in a draw.
