Nolan To Return Against Liverpool

Newcastle United's Kevin Nolan was ruled out of yesterdays 1-1 draw against Chelsea with an ankle injury and Hughton has said he will also miss next weekends game against West Bromwich Albion. Nolan, who has scored 7 goals this season, should however be fit to face Liverpool at St James' Park on Saturday 11th December.

Hughton yesterday told the official club website www.nufc.co.uk;

"Unfortunately for Kevin he's been carrying think ankle problem for a little while now.  He's a real tough character and he's been playing through it. He's at the stage now where it's come to a head and he'll have an injection on Monday.

At this moment he will miss next week's game but we're hopeful he'll be available after that."

Be interesting to see what Guthrie does in the middle, and maybe give CH something to think about, said it before, in a 4-5-1 I would play Nolan, in a 4-4-2 I probably wouldn't
