Newcastle United travel to London tomorrow on the back of a 2-1 win against Birmingham City last weekend and have two wins, two draws and two defeats from their last six games. Chelsea host having lost out on the title, on the back of a defeat against Manchester United last weekend and have four wins and two defeats from their last six games in all competitions. Chelsea go into the game hoping to secure 2nd place, whilst Newcastle travel hoping to secure a top ten finish.
Alan Pardew has contended with an extensive injury list all season, and this weekend is no different. He continues to be without Hatem Ben Arfa (broken leg), Alan Smith (ankle), Dan Gosling (knee), James Perch (knee), Leon Best (ankle), Stephen Ireland (ankle), Danny Guthrie (shin) and Mike Williamson (arm), but is also without Steve Harper (knee) and Kevin Nolan who has just undergone surgery on an ankle injury.
Cheik Tiote is rumoured to be side-lined to prevent him picking up another yellow card and therefore a 3 match ban.
On the flip side Carlo Ancelotti has a fairly full squad with just Jose Bosingwa (knee) absent and no players suspended.
Fact: Chelsea have won their last 6 Premier League games at Stamford Bridge. Newcastle have won just 1 of their last 8 away games.
Fact: Newcastle have not won a league game at Stamford Bridge since November 1986. (Lost 11 drawn 6 of the 17 played).

what the hell is the referee doing with the Chelsea pr@ck, he should have booked him for the tackle and then booked him for dissent, bottled it for not sending him off
