Ranger Ready To Go

Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger will be interested should any offers come in for his services, according to agent Nick Rubery. The 20 year old who joined from Southampton in July 2008 and signed a 3 and a half year deal in April 2009, scored 22 goals in 43 appearances for the reserves/academy in 2008/2009, but has struggled to find his feet so far in the 1st team.
Rubery said;
"Newcastle have signed a striker and they'll sign another one, so Nile won't start many games next season. He needs to play to help his development.
If the right club comes along, he'll be interested."

I'm Glad Nile's agent is confident that another striker will be signed, 'cause I'm not so sure.

I'd put good money on him and Lovehandles starting against Arsenal after Shola, Ba and Best injure themselves in pre-season and Xisco gets sold.

I'm not so sure we should be letting this guy go. yes he has abit of a reputation but iv'e never really felt he's been given a run in the team his goals to game ratio is dreadful but how often has ranger bin given the full 90 minutes??? rare if ever. loan would be a much better option. if this guy gets his head down he has all the attributes too one day become a canny striker!
