Newcastle United's Sammy Ameobi ends a brilliant week in which he signed a new three and a half year deal, by being rewarded with a starting place in today's game against Manchester City. He lines up alongside Demba Ba as his brother Shola starts on the bench alongside Peter Lovenkrands. As expected Cheik Tiote misses out through injury. Sergio Aguero partners Mario Balotelli for City, whilst David Silva starts on the bench after his International responsibilities.
