Toon Face Blackburn In FA Cup 3rd Round

Newcastle have been drawn against Blackburn Rovers in the 3rd round of the FA cup to be played at St James' Park. Manager Alan Pardew would have been hoping for a game against a lower league team after expressing his wish to win silverware with the club, instead Blackburn will prove strong competition. The other Premier League clash sees Manchester City host Manchester United.

Games will be played the weekend of the 7th and 8th January 2012.
