With the injuries then we could struggle, but I am more confident now as I think that the players coming in will want to prove a point

I hope some of the injured fellas get back soon. 4 goals to Norwich, ouch.

Gosling was a liability today anyway and we seemed to play a lot better without him . And as for obertan ! This guy is a waste of space can't trap a ball can't cross for toffee and didn't even look intrested today . It's about time he was dropped and give Sammy a go

Hopefully Colo will be back for the next game, as we obviously need him as conceding 4 today is not good, good that we tried to fight back but always thought we should have tried to get the draw and pack the midfield, we will defo need to do it against Swansea who love to pass it around.

A tough one to take today. Not trying to take anything away from norwich as they did their job today and exploited our lack of height at the back. A few of us said that they will stick Holt and Morrison up top and it proved too much for us. I know he hasnt played but surely Kadar, at well over 6 foot, should have started.

Anyway, Im not one to moan about officials but think we were a bit hard done too. That was never a corner for the first goal as you could tell that Krul didnt carry it over the line. If he caught it behind the line then its a goal kick. Thought Gosling was a bit hard done too for straight red as well. It could have been a booking (which would have seen him off anyway) but it looked like the lad kicked his foot. Soft free kick given their way against Perch as well which led to another goal.

Some positives though,
Santon started and it was a good sign that he actually took Raylor's place and not Simpsons. By all accounts he had a canny game and looked assured (I know we conceded 4 and its just from what I have read). We might find that he keeps his place. The games coming up could be the games where he finds his feet with two home games and one away against a poor Bolton.
Ba' goals were class especially the first one.
Cabaye's vision is class. The ball for the first goal was out of this world.
Reports are positive that Colo, Williamson and Tiote could be back next week. To be honest I dont want anyone risked especially against Swansea that really dont have the aerial threat of Norwich. But if they make it back then Colo and Williamson have played a lot of games together and with Gosling missing then Tiote can just slot straight back in.

Hold tight for a busy xmas and hopefully a busy January transfer window.

Have to have a question about Gosling's sending off. Not saying the ref's wrong, but didn't see any difference between that and the kick on Shola after the corner that got Martin just a yellow-but again, that was early in the match. Refs need to be told: if it's a red in the 70th minute, it's a red in the 5th minute. Inconsistency is what makes people not trust/respect refs.
