Yohan Cabaye To Have Scan On Ankle Injury

Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye will have a scan on his ankle after being stretchered off against Queens Park Rangers in the 23rd minute of the game. Cabaye went down after a challenge by Shaun Derry, before rising again to confront the player. He then went to ground for the second time before seeking treatment from Newcastle medics.
The medical team have confirmed that there is an injury to the ankle (not foot) and that he will need a scan to properly diagnose it, but they also said it doesn't look to be anything too serious. He was replaced by Hatem Ben Arfa and Derry was booked for the tackle.

Sky caught them in the tunnel, I think due to the nature of the way he was up and down they had to put a stop to any queries of him faking it.
Hence the comment confirming there is definitely an injury

Yep, I think you're right. Sometimes that happens though-adrenaline makes you able to pop right back up but after a few seconds you feel it more.
It was an awful tackle and could have been a sending off. Not malicious though.
