Pardew Apology For Official Push

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has apologised for uncharacteristically pushing the referees assistant yesterday, when it because clear a throw-in to Newcastle was not going to be given. Pardew was shown to lean towards Stuart Burt before pushing him out of the way. Immediately after the game Pardew told ESPN how he had been encouraging his players to behave and that he had let himself down.
He said;
“It was ridiculous really. I did go in and apologise afterwards.
The linesman was right in front of me, I thought the ball went out and shoved him.
I have been pleading with all my players this week to behave themselves and show Olympic spirit – and then I get sent off. I can only apologise. The players did the right things and I didn’t.
It was stupid. I don’t know what I was thinking. I apologise 100 per cent. It was silly.”
The FA are now expected to investigate the incident before deciding whether or not to punish Pardew further.

He shook his shoulder, instantly said sorry.
Would like to think some sort of sense will prevail, a small fine or something, but it probably won't they will ban him probably for a lengthy time

Ferguson could have whacked him with a length of pipe and taken his wallet and he'd get a suspended ban.
