Newcastle United host Aston Villa tomorrow afternoon in their third game of the Premier League season. Pardew’s team go into the game on the back of European Qualification in midweek, whilst Villa travel on the back of two consecutive defeats in the League and a win in the Capital One cup in midweek.
Newcastle go into the game with an ever-growing injury list. The most recent addition, Ryan Taylor who has been ruled out, at the worst, until March 2013 with serious cruciate damage of the knee, an injury he sustained in midweek. In the same game, James Perch (neck) also picked up an injury, and the duo join Shola Ameobi (hamstring), Cheik Tiote (calf) and Sammy Ameobi (hamstring) on the sidelines.
Paul Lambert also has his fair share of absent players going into the game, with Gary Gardner (ACL Knee), Samir Carruthers (ankle), Richard Dunne (groin), Marc Albrighton (metatarsal fracture), Gabriel Agbonlahor (MCL Knee) and Stiliyan Petrov (acute leukaemia) all unavailable.
New signing Joe Bennett is in the Villa squad and Ciaran Clarke returns after serving a one game ban in midweek
Pardew, who fielded a relatively strong team in midweek, is expected to reunite Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse, whilst Haris Vuckic will be hoping to feature after his goal won Newcastle the game on Thursday night.

Gutierez looks lively, weve had a few half chances since they scored but still don't look up for this hopefully Pards will give them a bollocking at half time. Simpson looked like a slight hamstring strain nothing major I hope.
I think the Toon have been a bit off the pace at the moment, but to have 4 points so far, against the teams we have played then it is not a bad start.
After seeing the strike and seeing the talent that Ben Arfa has then we need to build the team around him and play to his strengths rather than the weakness he has, on the ball and going forward, I think he is one of the best in the league, tracking back then lets be honest he is no Jonas
