Newcastle United captain Fabricio Coloccini is looking to leave Newcastle as elegantly as possible according to his father Osvaldo, youth coach for San Lorenzo. The 30 year old's dad has been speaking to TyC Sports and says that his son wants to join him at the club. His comments come just weeks after the San Lorenzo president said he knew Coloccini wanted to return to the club.
Osvaldo said;
"Fabricio wants to play for San Lorenzo and he is trying his best to find an elegant way to leave Newcastle.
We don't know what Newcastle will come up with, but Fabricio is trying to rescind his contract because he wants to be back at San Lorenzo.
His contract is very good and that could complicate things in an attempt for him to leave Newcastle."
Just last month San Lorenzo president Matias Lammens said he knew the defender wanted to join the club and confirmed they would be happy to have him. He said;
"We know he is a fan and wants to return, so there could be a possibility. It's not impossible, but of course the only thing that can accelerate the situation is Fabricio's intentions."
Coloccini has three and a half years left on his contract at Newcastle and it is unlikely that manager Alan Pardew would let him leave without putting up a fight.

1: His father needs to allow Colo to speak for himself and as a person in the footballing world (as opposed to an agent who never kicked a ball) he should have a bit more respect rather than coming out with comments like this about a team captain!
Its going to come out that there was an error in translation, as for replacing him i cant see him leaving this month so it'll be atleast the summer before he leaves, if he is planning on leaving then hopefully he'll make his intentions known to the club early and give us a chance to find his replacement!
Colo is a good defender and class on the ball. I for one would be gutted if he left we need players like him in the team especially in the position that we find ourselves in.To say he can de replaced is fine but who will we get in with the same ability and class!

His agent came out and said while Dad is hopeful that he will come back some day, he has no intention of doing so at this point. Seems to me that Dad wants him to do something that he doesn't want to do, but Colo just can't seem to tell him out right.
He needs some help back there, he's trying too hard to do too much and making more and more mistakes in the process.
