Agent Denies Newcastle Talks For Douglas

Earlier this week Newcastle were once again linked with FC Twente defender Douglas's, however his agent has now denied the player is in line for a move to Inter Milan, Reading or Newcastle. Marcos Paulo Ribeiro said that there are three Bundesliga clubs who are interested and they have rejected one official bid.
Ribeiro said;
“So far we have not had contact with Inter. And according to our knowledge there has not been an offer. The same applies to Reading.
Newcastle? We begun discussions with them in the last transfer window, but there are no negotiations now.
Three Bundesliga clubs want him and we have already rejected a formal proposal.
Now we have to wait. Douglas is focused on Twente and he is a player who has always done well for the team.”

At first I though no way, but now the more I think about it, it makes some sort of sense.
Unlikely to be more than say 3 mill, can play out wide as well as forward.
I'm not a fan of players coming from Scotland, I think the quality of football is so poor, it's very difficult to know what your getting, but we will see I suppose.
Im not 100% but if all these clubs are looking at Douglas, then he will drag it on to get the most money. I think he will sit out his contract.
