Medhi Abeid Loan Deal To St Johnstone Agreed

Newcastle United midfielder Medhi Abeid will join St Johnstone on loan until the end of the season in a bid for some first team footballing experience. The 20 year old who has played for Newcastle in two cup games will now join Steve Lomas' side, with the player tweeting his need for more games.
Abeid confirmed the deal earlier today when he tweeted;
“Départ for saint johnstone on loan for the rest of the season! #needa game!”
He is one of several players to have been given the opportunity to go out on loan during this transfer window. It was confirmed earlier today that defender Paul Dummett would rejoin St Mirren until the end of the season, whilst there is also speculation that two or three others could also be loaned out before the transfer window shuts.
