Cisse's 3 Goals In 2 Games Put Senegal Top Of Their Group

Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse has had a busy summer so far for his International team. The 28 year old took the lead for Senegal in their African World Cup Qualifier against Angola on the 8th June, before the team conceded early in the second half. Today he scored from a penalty in the 19th minute of their qualifier against Liberia before doubling their lead in the 54th minute with a close range header. 

Senegal now top their group on 9 points and they will need to stay top of their group if they are to advance to the third round. Group winners all go through before being drawn into five two-legged play offs with the winners qualifying for the Brazil World Cup.
