Pre-Season Match Thread/Line-up: Rio Ave v Newcastle United

Newcastle United field a relatively strong side against Rio Ave this evening with Davide Santon, Steven Taylor, Yohan Cabaye, Jonas Gutierrez and Yoan Gouffran all starting. Massadio Haidara who missed the beginning of the trip with a minor injury doesn't make the bench but has now joined up with the team, whilst Sammy and Shola Ameobi do. Cabaye captains the side in the 6pm kick off.

Alnwick, Santon, Dummett, S Taylor, Yanga-Mbiwa; Cabaye (c), Anita; Marveaux, Vuckic, Gutierrez; Gouffran.
Substitutes
Elliot, Williamson, Tiote, Sissoko, Obertan, Sammy Ameobi, Shola Ameobi, Campbell.

Really looking forward to the derby. Honestly I can't sleep with anticipation of all our new signings making the impact I expect.
