Newcastle United travel to White Hart Lane tomorrow for the 12pm kick off. They go into the game on the back of a win and clean sheet against Chelsea last weekend, but have just two wins, three defeats and one draw from their last six games in all competitions. Tottenham Hotspur host on the back of four wins and two defeats from their last six games, but have just two wins and a draw from their last three Premier League games.
White Hart Lane isn’t known for the amount of Premier League goals it has seen from its home team so far this season, with Spurs having scored just 5 goals there this season in the Premier League and just 9 goals all season.
Newcastle on the other hand have scored 7 Premier League goals on the road this season but won just 2 games.
Alan Pardew will be without Paul Dummett (hamstring) and Steven Taylor (hamstring), but is expected to welcome back Cheik Tiote (muscular) who limped off against Chelsea last week and Fabricio Coloccini (groin) who hasn’t played since the game against Cardiff City. Massadio Haidara (hamstring) is also due back, but there is still no news on Jonas Gutierrez, who returned to Argentina three weeks ago due to personal reasons.
Spurs will recall goal-keeper Hugo Lloris (head injury) who was rested in midweek after being knocked unconscious in their game against Everton last weekend. Villas-Boas will be without Danny Rose (toe), Sandro (hamstring), Zeki Fryers (groin) and Emmanuel Adebayor (foot).
Jermaine Defoe will be looking to extend his goal-scoring run after becoming Tottenham’s leading goal scorer in Europe earlier this week, but the 31year old is struggling to be named regularly for League games and failed to come off the bench last weekend in their game against Everton.
Fact: Newcastle United haven’t kept a clean sheet against Spurs in their last 17 games.
Fact: Newcastle United haven’t won at White Hart Lane in five and a half years.
Fact: Loic Remy has now scored 6 goals in 6 League games for Newcastle United.

i saw 2 things today during the match that i can't recall having seen before;
1. The referee allowed friedel to play advantage when he'd blown for offside
2. Paulinho decided he had been fouled and stopped and picked up the ball at which point the referee then decided it was a free kick, he hadn't blown for a free kick before Paulinho picked the ball up so surely he should have booked him.
The officials were all for them today, I was biting my nails towards the end as if one of them took a slight tumble in the box you just knew they would give it.
On the strip I love it, nearly bought it last week, it resembles the brazil kit so whats not to like
Nice to see a little resilience and a bit consistency coming through, will colo get his place back atm I don't think he should.
Obertan even surprised me when he came on with a couple of decent tackles, we are looking much better as a while united team atm for how long no one knows.
