Coloccini Out For 4-6 Weeks, Debuchy Suspended, Taylor Back?

Newcastle United defender Fabricio Coloccini will be out for up to six weeks with a knee injury he sustained in the 1-0 defeat to West Brom earlier today. Captain Colo suffered medial knee ligament damage. His injury came after fellow defender Mathieu Debuchy was sent off for a two footed challenge and will miss the next three games.

Pardew said after the game;

"It has been a bad afternoon. Not only do we lose Debuchy but Colo also looks to have done something to his knee.

It is early days but we could be looking at four to six weeks out."

The injury/suspension news could mean that Steven Taylor, who, just a week or so ago, was moaning about the lack of opportunities he is being given at the club, could find his way back into the team quicker than Pardew expected.

Taylor might come in for the cup match agaibst Cardiff but I think we'll see haidara go in on the left santon move over to the right and MYM take colo's place just like today.

Was going to right exactly the same thing Mental. Mbiwa was going well with Williamson and deserves to go straight back in. We have cover at FB with Dummet and Anita also. Taylor will have to wait.
