Team Line-Ups: Newcastle Utd v Manchester City

Steven Taylor makes his first start for Newcastle United since the side's reverse fixture on the opening day of the season. Sylvain Marveaux proves he is still around as he makes the bench, alongside Dan Gosling. Davide Santon passed a late fitness test and starts but there is no sign of Shola Ameobi for this game, whilst younger brother Sammy is named as a sub. Manchester City start with Joe Hart in goal and Silva, Negredo and Dzeko all attacking. Sergio Aguero is still sidelined. 


Newcastle United

Tim Krul; Davide Santon, Steven Taylor, Mike Williamson, Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa; Vurnon Anita, Cheik Tiote (c), Yohan Cabaye; Moussa Sissoko, Loic Remy, Yoan Gouffran.

Substitutes

Rob Elliot, Massadio Haidara, Dan Gosling, Sylvain Marveaux, Sammy Ameobi, Hatem Ben Arfa, Papiss Cisse.

Manchester City

Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta, Vincent Kompany (C), Martin Demichelis, Aleksandar Kolarov, Samir Nasri, Fernandinho, Yaya Toure, David Silva, Alvaro Negredo, Edin Dzeko.

Substitutes

I hope Taylor doesn't start bossing Mike Williamson about like he used to do.
Taylor is also the player I see doing something stupid even ahead of Tiote.

Yeh I knew he would be named. So typical. Not impressed.
