Lasogga, Newcastle is second choice. So do we want him?

The attempts to sign Pierre-Michel Lasogga from Hertha Berlin, seemed to be as god as over yesterday, when the player’s agent stated that he was desperate for a move to Hamburg.

However this morning comes the news that Hamburg is in a state of revolution and may very well not have any funds available for any deals.

Hamburg were thought to be on the verge of receiving cash from investor Klaus-Michael Kuehne, but the money seems to be about to arrive with stings attached, if indeed it arrives at all.

Those strings seem to include the removal of the coach Mirko Slomka, with Kuehne quoted as stating:

“As a private citizen and HSV fan, I can only say that I do not believe in this coach.

“My personal opinion is the trainer must be replaced.”

He is also thought to want rid of general manager Kreuzer, who is thought to be the prime mover in any transfer.

But Haven’t we been here before?

Clearly didn’t want to come here in the first place, played (on the rare occasions that he was actually fit, like when there was an England game due) like he couldn’t care less.
