If anyone has been into a Sports Direct store will tell you, there are a few labels around stating 70% off everything in sight. In fact a documentary showed the products coming out of some hell hole company, with the labels already attached.
Now it seems, it is spreading to the players with a 12 million price tag slapped on Reported Arsenal target Debuchy, following on the heels of what in my opinion was a very cheap deal that took Cabaye off to PSG, it does look like the much vaunted business style, is making its way onto the pitch.
You buy a player, he works, and you sell him cheaply for a quick profit.
Look at how much players are currently moving for 50 million for David Luiz, 30 million for Luke Shaw and suddenly 20 million seems a steal for Cabaye.
I would argue that 12 million, would be another steal, it’s not like it matters I suppose, I mean if the money had any chance what so ever of being ploughed back into the team, to make us stronger for next season, I would be up in arms.
Instead it’s another chance to merely roll my eyes and shake my head.
I keep hoping that perhaps this will be the time, when it finally clicks to Mike Ashley, that a football club simply cannot be run the same way as a cut price sports store.
Piling high and selling cheap only brings mediocrity, So here is a thought, why don’t we go the whole way and just start putting 70% off price tags on their back, or around the stands, it’s not like we are making anything off the advertising that is currently there.

Good RB though and as a gooner I,d be happy to see him in red n white this coming season.
Since the end of WW1, 1919, when the FA restarted its 4 tier football league, with Arsenal fc in the 1st div, there’s only ever been one club to have never been relegated from Div 1/ EPL.
Arsenal fc
Let’s keep making history

If Debuchy is transferred for 12m and you say that's only 30% of his worth! I reckon you might have slightly over valued him! my friend.
