Another Dutch star due in?

Reports abound that Newcastle have an agreement in principal to sign Dutch world cup star Daryl Janmaat once the tournament is over. 

The Feyenoord right-back would of course be a replacement for the Arsenal bound Debuchy, who is imitating millions of his countrymen and retreating south.

If it proves to be true, and we can of course manage to bring him across the blasted line, it will make a nice change, to finally bring a replacement in for a departing player, instead of just, sitting on the cash and hoping everything will be OK.

You never know the penny may finally be dropping that football is about having players and not advertising, I will hope, but won’t hold my breath.
