According to French radio station RMC Bordeaux and Newcastle are in talks with a view to MAPOU Yanga-Mbiwa, making a loan move back to France.

The player has found chances to make a claim to a regular place few and far between on Tyneside is said to be keen on a move to the Stade Chaban-Delmas.

If the move does go through, it could be argued that it will leave Newcastle short of cover in central defence, with just three senior players Fabricio Coloccini, Mike Williamson and Steven Taylor filling that position.

It is thought that Pardew could turn to the youth team to fill any gaps.

This may be a very god move for all involved, Mbiwa was always seen as a replacement for Colocini and we've seen that they can't play well together which means Mbiwa is stuck on the bench. He can go out on loan and play a full season then come back to the club and have a season to get ready for Colo leaving in 2016
