Newcastle end interest in Remy. Good!

needed, not wanted.

Alan Pardew has stated that Remy has had numerous chances to join Newcastle United and seemingly has spent the time attempting to go anywhere else.

While not completely ruling out a move Pardew told the Evening Chronicle:

"I think he's had plenty of chances to come to us. We made it very clear that we would like to have him and it hasn't really happened and therefore sometimes you have to say 'Where's the line drawn for us as a club?' as we have our own respect and our own professionalism.

"So maybe that one has gone away, but like all transfers they're never, ever over, so we'll keep our finger on the pulse."

Personally I am sick of Remy, it’s annoying that he is a very good player and would certainly add something to the current side, but the way he has messed us about, makes me think I could never actually like him.

From day one, when we paid for his flight and he went to QPR, a side he is now desperate to be away from, to the accusations of being ‘rested’ at the end of the season when we desperately needed him.

Through to seemingly touting himself around half the premier league, Remy has shown consistently, that Newcastle is not where he sees his future, well good riddance I say.

Let’s move on to other targets, I want players who want to be in the black and white, not ones to whom it’s merely a last resort.

Newcastle end interest in Remy. Good!

He's showing everyone that he is a mercenary and that's why he'll be playing for QPR next season.

Having said that i can still see the deal being done.

I don't now. However I am quite willing to be wrong.

I have said this numerous times, but he gets on my nerves, the fact that he is a descent player merely makes it worse.

I always wondered why he's never made the big move his ability suggest he should have got, since he joined QPR i think its obvious that greed stopped him making that move and he's a player who will end up playing in Qatar in the near future
