Essex 2003 Fixtures

The fixtures are here for 2003! Below are all Essex's fixtures in all competitions. We play no fewer than 7 Floodlit matches & 6 of those at home, with 5 under the new Chelmsford lights to be installed. We start our Championship campaign against rivals Middlesex, whilst also playing Pakistan.

As well as all that, the new 20 Overs Competition comes into replace The Benson & Hedges Cup, with the new exciting format, a 5:30pm start and 3 floodlit games making the new competition eagerly anticipated.
Of course, we already know that it's the Pros vs Amateurs derby at Chelmsford in Round 3 of The C&G Trophy, as we face The Essex Board XI, made from the crop of SNEL club cricket players in the county.
We start our Championship campaign at home at Chelmsford against Middlesex and our National League campaign gets under way at Headingley vs Yorkshire.
