Wickham Linked with Return

Former Town striker Connor Wickham could return to Town with Mick McCarthy confirming his interest in the Suderland forward according to media speculation.

It's believed that Black Cats boss Martin O'Neil is prepared to allow the 19 year old to leave the club on a temporary basis in order to gain first team football. Wickham has barely featured this season and a return to Town may well prove attractive for the academy product.

Wickham joined Suderland for a Town club recored sale of £8.1m last year but has found it hard to break into the first team of his current club.
