Kisnorbo Stays for Rest of Season

Town have confirmed that they have extended the loan of 31 year old Australian defender Patrick Kisnorbo until the end of the current season.

The Leeds United center back had originally signed to the end of January, but having impressed Town boss Mick McCarthy enough in training and hin his one game to date against Aston Villa in the FA Cup, the Town manager has now decided to extend the temporary deal for the rest of the campaign.

Confirming the news to the Official Club Website, McCarthy said of the defender, who is out of contract at the end of the season: “Patrick wanted to stay with us, we wanted him to stay so obviously we’re pleased it’s been agreed."
