Reach for the Sky

All of a sudden the rugby season is looking a whole lot brighter. A first win  under our belts and now the Gods in the Sky have looked down on us and chosen us for a live game - against the bottom club!

Of course, defeat by Ealing at Goldington Road on Sunday [kick off 3.15 if you're setting your recorder] would be a disaster. But that's one banana skin we will surely avoid [everything crossed].

The prospect of national exposure will give more energy to both sides but more importantly it should fire up a home crowd which we hope will be getting close to 3,000.

With players such as the Charlie Clare, Ollie Dodge, Mike "Le Booj" Bourgeois in fine form we should come away with a bonus point win to help move us away from the danger zone.

That's as long as the forwards keep up their recent improvement and provide a decent platform for the flair behind them.

Good call Ed. I would expect you to see off the Trailfinders. They are struggling to adjust to the standards in this division & although they are plucky and never stop trying they appear to be short on fitness and skills which is a bit of a disaster at the moment.

Presumably Sky selected this game before the season started. Cant see it being the best advert for the Championship being totally honest.
