The Blues must get revenge against Connacht this weekend if we are to continue in the B&I cup ...

We got a big foothold in this game only to let it all slip against a young home side whose indiscipline should have been punished.

Brendan Burke scored our try in the first half, but Connacht came back through Hefferman and Browne in the second.

We had stretched our lead early in the second half after Eoghan Masterson was penalised at the breakdown and became the home side’s second sin-binning.

Le Booj got the pen only for the Eagles to come basck up the pitch and, despite being down to 14, Heffernan was able to get over from close range.

That gave Connacht the lead for the first time at 10-8 and they never looked back.
