Mike Rayer is wasting no time in trying to ensure that next season produces more success than the current campaign. He has added three new signings ...

In comes former England Under 20 front row Billy Moss from London Welsh and formerly Bath, our on loan second row Harry Wells joins permanently from Leicester, and back row James Blanchet from Exeter Chiefs.

Moss has played more than 50 times for the Exiles and is mainly a loosehead.

Twenty year old Blanchet is a French-Canadian. He is six feet four inches tall and weighs 16 stone,  and has been invited  to train with the England U20 squad.

Blues have also confirmed the permanent regiostration of Jake Sharp who joined from Saracens initially on dual-registration.

The four join new signings Dean Adamson and Jim Wigglesworth in the squad for next season along  as well as  captain James Pritchard , Patrick Tapley, Joe Vandermolen, Charlie Clare, Mike Howard, Darryl Veenendaal, Ollie Dodge and Paul Tupai.

Jake Sharp is a re-signing. He has been a Bedford player for some time now.

Great to see the Club building early with a mix of young talent and players with top league experience.

Interesting one with Sharp; can imagine he would have designs on playing on the Premiership but apparently no one calling. What is he missing to be able to make it in the top league? What does he need to improve next year?

What does Atkinson have that Jake doesn't?

Love the new signings - just hope we don,t over do it on the budget (first post) site seems to be getting more popular now with lots of interesting comments being made love it. Can,t wait for the new shirt to come out.
