Kerr Debuts

Baden Kerr makes his debut for the Blues in the side which hosts a resurgent Plymouth at the traditiional  time of 3.00 on Saturday ..

Kerr will be at full back following an injury to Dean Adamson with James Pritchard finding a berth on the wing and Darryl Veenandaal at scrum half.

In the forwards Billy Moss is back from injury and he'll pack down alongside TJ Harris and Phil Boulton. Mike Howard comes into the second row and Nick Fenton-Wells will lead the side from the back row.

It promises to be a close encounter. We won at Brickfields, and gained a try bonus point, but Plymouth arrive on the back of a win over Rotherham last week while our good form went out of the window  in the defeat by a very decent London Scottish side.

Albion make one change with winger Jake Henry coming in for Jack Arnott who has been reecalled by Exeter Chiefs for LV=Cup duty at Sarries.

I'm surprised at our selection, particularly with Dodge and Staff both fit....... Albion number 20, think we had him on loan from Sarries. The pressure is really on today and I think it will be close. Home win 27-24

Good to see James P on the wing - where he could be any week - with Mike LB at full back - so Mr Kerr at full back could have been Fly half for me - As they say in theatre land " I hope Mr Kerr breaks a leg today on his debut "

Kerr had a very good game, looking forward to him tearing through the Jersey defence next Saturday.Max pts and back up to 6th, sorted!

I felt Kerr looked very rusty and we'll see a better player after a few more games.

"Few more games" how many has he got left with us? Thought he was good in the first half and then played all over the park in any position we wanted in the second half

We've played 14 games so far. There are 22 total league games pre playoffs so there are at least 8 remaining, hopefully more.

The first time in possession he lost it which could've almost resulted in a length of a field try for Albion. He also passed it into touch without looking when Tapley was wanting to switch. His passing was a little loopy at times. I'm not saying he played badly just when he gets used to his teammates and playing we should see a better player.
