Losing 2 players to potentially serious injuries after about 10 mins according to Twitter probably didn't help.

The bad injuries disrupted the Blues initially, but they held out and dominated the scrum throughout. Meanwhile the incompetent ref did his best to cancel out any advantage by unexplainable decisions. When he did get it right (ball held up by Tapley) the linesman (who was further away) overruled him - Priceless. Too many penalties again; but a glimmer of hope. Need to demolish average teams like this next season.

After a slow start I thought we more than held our own. Until Kerr threw the ball at NFW I thought we were on for a win.

It was certainly a better performance than the cup game against them and we battled for the entire 80mins. Can't fault the players' commitment.
