Trad Saturdays

Hats off to whoever decided that Goldington Road will host traditional Saturday afternoon kick offs next season ...

Only two games won't start at 3.00 on Saturday. The New Year's Day game against Scottish is one of them but it's still a 3.00 kick off -  it's just that January1st falls on a Friday next year. Scottish will also  be hungover from Hogmanay - if they are proper Scotsmen.

The other is a 7.45 kick off against Rotherham on Friday October 16th.

Watch and wait for what? The fixtures are out the dates are fixed, barring acts of God. Saturday's at 3pm, just as we like it. Tradition, fab.

I would prefer a few more Friday night games, and a nice curry after.

Mmmmmm tenuous tinged with a pinch of fading topicality. Let me see how does this one work? The club announces fixtures and we immediately query their validity by projecting some sage like doubt, probably based on our own delusion and mistrust of anything the club (and management of) has to communicate.

I Guess there is some logic in there somewhere. One altered fixture and the champagne corks will really pop eh Red?

Based on previous experience.
