Looking Good
By Blues Brother

It's early days but things are looking distinctly promising at Goldington Road. The Blues are up to sixth place after a typically hard fought 28-19 win over Nottingham ..
Unfortunately we were one try short of a bonus point but as Nottingham had a real good go at us that's not surprising.
Our defence was tested and came through with tries from Pat Tapley, Sam Blanchet and Jordan Burns.
The visitors also got three tries and the result was only clinched in the closing stages with a superb break out try.
Sharp chipped over the defence with Steffan Jones first to the ball. He sent Paul Tupai racing for the line and he chose to pass it to young Buurns who took the glory for a great team try to make it 28-19.
Off to Jersey next weekend and a win there would really set things up nicely.

Lol, yep we'll never know, but we all have our thoughts on this don't we
Your not wrong.
I think that's right or Is it ...........deceiving?
But I'd like to see less changes every week for sure, then I think we'd really be flying
But it's a great start, full of optimism and I actually think now we'll find our natural level not playing the bigger teams.
Thought the crowds would be bigger on Saturday though, World Cup and wanting to watch live rugby in your back yard, still can't believe a rugby town only gets 2,000 out on a Saturday! My town gets 9000 for a fourth division football team!
