If winning is a habit we are on the right track. The B and I might not be the biggest competition but it gives an opportunity to meet a different kind of opposition...
The new Scarlets Select side is certainly that - call it Scarlets Reserves if you like - and it was always going to be a step into the unknown.
Itr was one we gratefully accepted winning 35-6 on a wet and blustery day at Carmarthen Park in west Wales.
We also came away with a bonus point thanks to James Pritchard, Sam James, Mike Le Bourgeois and Steffan Jones all crossing the line. We also had three kickers trying their luck - Myles Dorrian, Jones and Jake Sharp all notched.
Ulster Ravens are next up on saturday with a 2.30 kick off.
