Big weekend for the Blues with tonight's Gala dinner and tomorrow's farewell to the tremendous Mike Howard ..

He's not the opnly one leaving with Jake Sharp also off this week - to London Scottish.

That's a blow to be honest but the good news is that two new backs have been signed in the shape of former Saints' and Chiefs' fly half Will Hooley and Saints winger Howard Packman.

Twenty four year old Hooley is a former England Under 20 international who came through the Saints Academy making 14first team appearances and scoring 77 points.

Howard , who is still only 21, has been on loan at Goldington Road since January and both he and the club obviously like what they see.
