The only way is up. After a disappointing season avoiding the bottom rungs the summer has seen Blues fans wondering just how the club fell from grace and what can be done about it ...
The response has been to go for experience and hopefully for players who haven't lost the sparkle which earned them careers in the Premiership.
Lee Dickson, Will Hooley and Tom Lindsay will certainly bolster the squad and provide experience on the pitch and in the dressing room.
The other good news ahead of the first game at Richmond this Saturday (kick off 5.00) is that we will once again have Saints second row Jordan Onojaife in the squad. He's big athletic and hungry to progress in the game.
The play-offs are no more and relegated Bristol are the favourites for promotion. We would all probably settle for top five.
