Who will be top of the Championship come Saturday night? Perhaps Trailfinders are favourites given they have home advantage against a Blues side which has made such a good start.

They also have the Indian sign over us from last season when they won all four encounters. However, this is a new season and, while we are only two games in, it's one we can look forward to with renewed confidence.

As ever there are rotational and enforced changes with Harry Sheppard  at fly half and two new props in Sean McCarthy and Alex Penny - Camilo Parilli-Ocampo and Ben Cooper moving tyo the bench ready for a freh leg second half onslaught.

We've also signed former Saints back James Wilson to provide cover for Will Hooley who has dam,aged shoulder. Wilson  made almost 100 appearances for Saints and will be on the bench.

Mr Paddy Power has Bedford as the underdogs and offering us at a generous 5/2

On the handicap book they are offering 10/11 with +7 for the Blues
Personal forecast is a medium wager 5/2 on Bedford.......will be missing a few games due to being ‘posted’ across......still fancy Bedford to beat Bristol at GR.........

Ealing were very impressive. Fancy them against Bristol on basis of yesterday. May be wrong on this, but our aggregate second half score from first 3 games is 21-51? Need to sort that out, I think!

Have Ealing got big money backers?
Don't see a problem with us losing to the top teams, we're just not there are we?
And losing second halfs, not a fitness issue but maybe our tactics are too transparent and teams suss us after a first half of playing against us?

Ealing are supported by the owner of Trailfinders and do have a really strong squad + finished 3rd last season. Personally, they were my tip for second at beginning of season, so no disgrace losing to them away, but disappointing in the manner in which we faded on Saturday - return of few needless penalties helping an already strong opposition
