The halfway mark has been reached and despite the defeat at Pirates we are in a very creditable third place...

We are also serving up lots of entertainment and it was the same in the deep south west where we tried valiantly to level the scores in the closing stages.

Instead, it was our old foes who closed the game out for a 24-17 win leaving us a massive 11 points behind second placed Trailfinders and a monumental 19 points behind Bristol.

But we are still four ponmts ahead of Nooitingham, and at the start pof the season most Blues supporters would be delighted with our turn round position.
