Pirates Pinch Cup Win

Not too many Blues supporters made it down to the Mennaye for this inaugural Championship Pool game against the Pirates but it sounds like a decent contest with the home side shading things 22-20.

Our tries were all decent by all accounts and came from Alex Gliksten, Dean Adamson and Ryan Hutler while Pirates relied on the kicking of Javier Rojas Alvarez.

There were a few plus points including a decent show from  Chris Czekaj in the centre in bis first game of the season..

So it should be worth turning up at Goldington Road this Friday night for round two and another competitive game against Hartpury.
