Always a good game against Pirates! We finished with a bonus point  three tries from the visitors in the closing stages had everyone at Goldington Road a bit twitchy.

In the end we were good value for the 27-17 win courtesy of a brace from Dean Adamson and one each for Tappers and Coulson.

Pirates's three tries all came within 8 minutes!

Irish are home and dry in Pool 3 with 24 points, but if we win  at Hartprury this weekend (they only have two points and aren't interested) then we could leapfrog Pirates as they face Irish. As things stand Pirates have 14 points and we have 11.

So the Championship Cup may not be that bad after all ...
