Disaster - No Beer

Our celebrations of a tremendous derby victory were cut short when we couldn't get a pint at Ampthill.  Still we fared better than the voical home supporters who couldn't drown their sorrows after a 34-53 defeat at the hands of the Blues .

This was a victory which propelled us into the top 4 and which was built on superiority in the set-piece with Blues winning just about every scrum

 Matt Worley led the way with a superb hat-trick, Tappers crossing twiuce and ther others coming from Emmanuel Iyogun and Jamie Elliott.

We were 14-0 to the good before Ampthill threatened and never looked back. The pick of the tries coming from Worley thanks to a 90m interception - he deserved a beer after that.
